Too Wilde for words
My latest theatre production - A play in english about the life and work of Oscar Wilde with musical accompaniment. A biographic collage, dramatically played out in two acts - (poems, plays, letters, essays and anecdotes) documenting the paradoxes and ambiguity of Wilde's character. A portarait of his views on society and art, that are as valid today, as they were then, and his obsessive relationship with Lord Alfred Douglas. An hommage to Oscar Wilde as ironic social dandy, cynical critic, and as a man desperately seeking love and affection.

Songs of the City ( my new show)

It is an evening of song...takes place in a bar with my favourite bar pianist, and we fantasise about visiting cities I know and love, taking a musical journey with witty anecdotes and stories in the style of those "saloon" singers Sinatra, Bennet, Cole, etc. and imtroducing a couple of my own songs ;-)) Yeah, life in the big city ha it's ups and downs, but the main thing is to come out on top!! ;-))))) I am very interested in taking this show on tour, so am looking for venues worldwide.

Fashion show in Florence, Italia, April 2009
Accademia Italiana produce an international fashion gala every year where international audience and press can admre the creations of wordwide design students and masters, and the "Piramide" is awarded to famous designers (2008 Vivenne Westwood) this year to Carla Fendi and Missoni. The show is directed/choreographed by me, and is qute a spectacle with at least 45 models and more than 300 outfits, in small collections by various designers.

Fashion Show in Bangkok in May 2009
Accademia Italiana presented international young designers in the Accdemia in Bangkok. It is their first international fashion show in bangkok, directed/choreogrphed by me, and was attended by the press and many celebreties. Miss universe was a model in the show, and as always the staff and people and friends in Bangkok were amazing and a joy to be with.

Kevin's show "Songs of the City" will premiere in Frankfurt Gallus Theater..dates to follow. "Songs of the City" is an evening of song and enteratinment, where Kevin takes his audience througha number of great cities, and hos impressions of them in his own charming witty dialogue and of course in song....cities like New York, Paris, London, Berlin, Rome, Rio and more=2 0are all there!!

Kevin opens in his play"Too Wilde for Words" in the Gallus Theater in Frankfurt am Main. A tragi-comedy on the life and work of Oscar Wilde, directed by Jochen Noetzelmann and co-starring Bernard Spieler.

The "Academia Italiana" shows in Florence/Firenze/Italy, where international young designers present their collections for an internantional audience (Foto with models)and Vivienne Westwood and Eva Cavalli, who both received awards. Kevin is the director/choreographer and also lighting designer

Kevin Oakes first concert in Germany as entertainer/singer. He presented his show "Fools and Lovers" in Frankfurt am Main "Gallus Theater" to a sold out ecstatic audience. He is now planning to take this show to other theatres in Europe.

Gala performance as singer and choreography for L'Oreal Luxury Brands ( Armani, Diesel, Cacharel, Biotherm, Dior, Lancome) Müller Beauty Forum, in Ulm, Germany.

Fashion Show for Shirley and Silk (Beiijing/ Frankfurt) in the" Sandsibar",Frankfurt. RTL television followed the whole process to make a documantary mini series on the making of a fashion show.

Grand Opening of "Academia Italiana" in Bangkok, with the Princess of Thailand. Kevin introduces his programme on motivational management for young designers, "From Design to Catwalk".

"Bonprix" fashion show in Hanburg created by Kevin Oakes, hosted by Wayne Carpendale, with performances by Patrick Bach, Florian Harloff, Kevin Oakes and Patrick Nuo.

Kevin appeared once again as model expert in the SAT1 national TV program "Akte 06", concerning the dream of being a model.

Kevin choreographed the show with german tv stars and actors. he also appeared as star guest, singing, in the gala show "Fashion for Charity" in Berlin, where the ruling mayor, Mr. Wowereit, was the mentor.

Kevin appeared on SAT1 national TV program "Akte 06" where he was interviewed concerning anorexic models.

Kevin choreographed the "Premiere Presentation" of the new luxury Mercedes-Benz CL 500 limousine in Cologne in a grand gala in the most modern and up- to date Mercedes Center in europe.

Mercedes-Mac Laren SLR, Germany's" Top Young CEOs" super event at Bernie Ackelston's formula one test track in the Provence. Kevin gave an opening speech on motivational management.

Kevin has just returned from Florence - where he directed and choreographed the "Academia Italiana" young designer shows, a great success with the public and the press.

Kevin is writing a book of fairytales, which is to be produced with an accompanying CD of Kevin narrating the stories. This project is with the creative team of Björn Knetter (graphic design) and Frank Schubert (Background music).

Kevin Oakes musical show "SONGS OF THE CITY" (see "entertainment") is plannes to premiere in the autumn of 2006 in Frankfurt am Main

Kevin is art-directing the second "be one" charity calender for the German Aids Foundation (Deutsche Aidshilfe), which he is producing with his partner Ralf Theobald,of the men's model agancy "be one".

Model coaching courses for young models in the style of "Star Search" (Kevin was the model coach) with photographers and stylists (see "inspiring"), after the summer break, in Frankfurt am Main and possibily other cities as well.
